For these sheepies I used the sheep in the pattern Maria Barton (Star Rug Company) provided to Rug Hooking Magazine a few issues ago.
Instead of hooking the sheep and owl as in Maria's pattern, I made a reversible sheep in the penny rug style. I also want to add penny circles to the sheep for a fun dimension or buttons instead of penny circles.
They are very fun to make and can serve as a wall or table decoration, a trivet or large coaster. With different wool on the flip side they can be turned over for a change. Very fun!
